Asian American Communities Rally to Help Hospitals, Health Care Workers and Patients

Asian Americans have heard the call and are responding to help hospitals and health care workers, so they can help patients. In this article read about how Dr. Peter Lee, an Emergency Room physician from New Jersey, used WeChat to raise awareness about the shortage of personal protective equipment. The Millburn Short Hllls Chinese Association quickly raised $50,000 and sourced masks and other equipment for donation. Other organizations profiled include the Long Island Chinese American Association, the Coalition of Asian Americans in Private Practice, and the Committee of 100. Asian American organizations are stepping up and answering the call for help.
